Engagement Committe
The Network’s Engagement Committee makes recommendations regarding communication, recruitment, and engagement messages and strategies for the 1 Mississippi program and is composed of individuals hailing from member organizations along the length of the River. As the outreach and engagement think tank of the Network, the committee also coordinates full-river events, initiatives, and campaigns.
Part of the committee’s ‘special sauce’ is centering regional-specific experiences, issues, and opportunities in concert with overarching Network priories including equity, justice, and inclusion; local, state, and federal policy; and a healthy and resilient Mississippi River for the people, land, water, and wildlife.
