Our Executive Director, Kelly McGinnis, and Policy Director, Maisah Khan, along with Mississippi River Network members and partners, were in Fayetteville, Arkansas, this week to attend the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) annual public meeting of the Gulf Hypoxia Task Force. The Task Force is the only state and federal agency body of its kind tasked specifically with goals related to nitrogen and phosphorus pollution in the Mississippi River and the Gulf Hypoxia Dead Zone.
